4th Annual Barrier Beach Long Island Blues and Arts Festival |
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEArtists in Partnership, Inc., a not-for-profit cultural arts organization, and the Long Beach Public Library announce this year’s lineup for the 4th Annual Barrier Beach Long Island Blues and Arts Festival running from July 5-8 in Long Beach, N.Y. Inspired by the recent induction of producer, Johanna Mathieson, co-producer, Howie Haber and 8 other local “Unsung Blues Heroes” into the “Blues Hall of Fame”, the focus this year will be on the talents that live and play the Blues in our own back yard.
Featured at the Library will be: The Michael Packer Blues Band, Howie Haber & Lou Carollo, MOTU and Chrissie O’Dell and One Hot Mess.
Playing outdoors at Arts in the Plaza in front of City Hall: Suffering Blues Band, John Earl Walker, Dave Fields, Breakaway and Kerry Kearney. The HUB Billiard Club and LOLA’S Wine Bar will feature performances by Benoir and the Long Beach All Stars, Halley DeVestern, Sweet Suzi and Sugafixx, Michael Barnett Band, Roxy Perry Band, Li’l Cliff and the Cliffhangers, and Killer Joe and the Lido Soul Review with Special Guests.
