Winter 2010: MOTU will be taking a break from performance gigs so he can start work on his next studio recorded CD. During this period MOTU may do an occasional performance but most of this time will be in the recording studio writing and recording new material. Look for the new album early in 2011. MOTU Remaining 2017 Shows Canceled Due to Injury Due to the recent hand injury MOTU sustained, and his subsequent hospitalization and surgery, all remaining 2017 MOTU concerts have been canceled. This also will delay recording work on the new MOTU album scheduled for release in 2018. MOTU is under outpatient care and physical therapy to regain full use of his hand again which should take only a few months.
